Tamarillo Gallery is an exciting venue located in the hub of Wellington's central art and business district on Wakefield Street, surrounded by 5-star hotels, art galleries, upmarket designer clothing stores and cafes. Since its opening in November 1999, Tamarillo has raised the profile of New Zealand contemporary art in the capital. We represent works of art by established as well as emerging artists. Works on display include contemporary glass, painting, sculpture, ceramics and jewellery. The monthly exhibits reflect the ever-changing art scenes and are viewed by local as well as overseas visitors.

Tamarillo guarantees the authenticity and quality of all artworks we show, enabling you to purchase with assurance and confidence. Works can be commissioned by selected artists. We also offer personal deliver services, if you are living in the city or near-by suburbs. For buyers outside of Wellington, we pack and arrange for appropriate delivery services to ensure works arrive at your destination in satisfactory condition.
